BASIC PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING PROGRAM
Most of our clients forward a consent form to our office. We then run a social security trace to determine if any criminal searches need to be performed other than what was reported on the consent form. MBI enters all of the data, performs the appropriate searches and returns the information for the clients decision making process.
Most of our clients choose to run a social security trace and a criminal history of the residences notated on the trace and the applicants consent form during the past 7-10 years. In addition most of our clients want us to perform searches that include felony and misdemeanor charges and convictions. The product availability sheet delineates the type of search we perform in each state. When a state provides felony and misdemeanor charges and convictions in all counties we perform a statewide criminal history search. If a state does not have a file of all felonies and misdemeanors in a repository we perform a county search. In a few states the information is for all but a few counties so we use that information and run a county search in the county where the applicant resided. In the state of GEORGIA our clients have chosen to use the GCIC repository.
On occasion a client wants us to perform a national database search or is satisfied to use corrections department information to augment their basic searches. You too can choose these searches but we do not recommend them and cannot stand behind the information you would receive as it is not complete. It is truly for your information only and is not considered to be a comprehensive criminal record search needed to validate an applicant’s worthiness.
MBI does not charge any sign up fees or access fees. We charge for each search based upon the program that has been tailored to meet your needs. At the end of the month we send to you a detailed report of your activity with an invoice payable upon receipt.
